Model M Operating Manual

The Echometer Model M Digital Recorder is used in conjunction with an acoustic gas gun to determine the distance to the liquid level in the casing annulus or tubing of a well. Hamdon Energy Solutions sells three package configurations for this model:

Model M Chart Recorder Package with Compact Gas Gun (Product No. EQ1500)
Model M Chart Recorder Package with 5000 psi Gun (Product No. EQ1750)
Model M Chart Recorder Package with 15000 psi Gun (Product No. EQ1800)

Additional Information

The Model M instrument consists of an analog/digital amplifier-recorder and a dual-channel paper chart recorder. One channel (liquid level) is used to optimize the reflection from the liquid level and the other large downhole anomalies. The second channel (collars) is used to optimize the response from the tubing collars and other small downhole anomalies.
